Jacquelyn Marquez, Jackie to her friends and family, is a Southern California native, a loving wife and proud mom, and a passionate vegan baker (with her own Micro-Bakery, Chaqueta Cakes LLC), and has her BA in Creative Writing from California State University Long Beach.
She has always been obsessed with the world of the supernatural—especially vampires, werewolves, and witches. Her most formative influences included Charmed, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, and Twilight. And her biggest writing influences are Dean Koontz, Christine Feehan, and Anne Rice.
